5 Days Itinerary

At 9:00 am, we'll pick you up from your riad or hotel in a comfortable, air-conditioned private vehicle. Our initial stop will be the Ksar of Ait-Ben-Haddou.

Ksar of Ait-Ben-Haddou

You'll pass through the Tizi n'Tichka pass and stop at several viewpoints to enjoy the stunning scenery.

We keep going till we arrive at Ait Ben Haddou, the biggest Kasbah in Africa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the setting for many famous movies.

We will head to Kalaa M'Gouna.

Kalaa M'Gouna

Kalaa M'Gouna is recognized as the most romantic town in Morocco, with a lively atmosphere that makes it the economic and social center of the region. Its annual Roses Festival in May is particularly memorable for many people.

Dades Valley

The Dades Valley is abundant with oases, palm groves, and intricate kasbahs. The source of the Dades River can be traced back to the High Atlas Mountains in Morocco, and it eventually merges with the Draa River, which is the largest river in the country.

The water from the Dades River nurtures an array of tree species such as birch, almond, and fig, among others, at the valley's bottom, creating a stunning contrast to the rock formations of earthy hues that tower over the valley.

Staying overnight and enjoying dinner at a hotel located in Dades.

After breakfast the following morning, leave Dades and journey to the Todra Gorges.

Gorges Todra

The Todra Gorges offer a spectacle of entertainment through their towering orange cliffs, which rise up to 980 feet (300 meters) above the Todra area. The absence of a river that once flowed through has allowed the mighty natural forces of nature to shape the region into unique forms, now only left to the imagination.

The next step in the journey is to travel from Todra to Tinjdad.

Tinjdad

We will visit Ksar El Khorbat, the renowned Berber heritage site situated at the entrance to Tinejdad. Built in the late 19th century, this structure has preserved much of its original architecture to this day.

After exploring the site, we will proceed to our next destination, the Sahara Desert in Merzouga.

Merzouga

Upon arrival in Merzouga, we will be welcomed with a refreshing cup of tea before embarking on a camel ride to the desert camp nestled amidst the shimmering golden dunes. Our accommodation for the night will be a comfortable tent, while our dining experience will be under the sparkling stars.

As night falls, we will be treated to live regional music performed by the talented local camp team, adding to the magical atmosphere of the Sahara Desert.

Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes, then take a camel ride back to our hotel for breakfast. Let's start our journey by driving towards the small villages surrounding the Erg Chebbi dunes, including Hassi Labied and Khamlia.

Erg Chebbi, Hassi Labied, Khamlia

The dunes of Erg Chebbi are known for their distinctive orange color, which shifts to pink and red hues as the sun rises and sets, creating a breathtaking spectacle of light and shadow. The area is also home to a unique ecosystem, including desert reptiles, rodents, and various bird species, making it a popular destination for nature enthusiasts and photographers.

Tourists visiting Erg Chebbi can enjoy a variety of activities, such as camel rides, sandboarding, and 4x4 excursions. For those seeking a more immersive experience, there are also several traditional Berber campsites located amidst the dunes where visitors can spend the night and enjoy local cuisine and music under the starry sky.

During our visit to Hassi Labied, we will make a stop at a garden where you can observe the intricate canal irrigation system that has been used for centuries to cultivate crops in the desert. Afterward, we will back to Merzouga, where we will have the opportunity to witness the Dayet Srji Lake. This stunning lake forms during the springtime and attracts flocks of pink flamingos and other wildlife, providing a unique and beautiful sight.

After savoring a delectable breakfast, we will get ready to leave our accommodation and continue our journey towards Ouarzazate via Rissani.

Rissani

Rissani is a small desert town located in the Tafilalt region of Morocco, and is known for its traditional souks and historic kasbahs. As we travel through this region, we will have the opportunity to explore its rich cultural heritage and stunning natural landscapes.

Let's continue our tour to Ouarzazate.

Ouarzazate

This city is known as the "Gateway to the Desert" and is located in the southern part of Morocco, at the edge of the Sahara Desert. Ouarzazate is famous for its picturesque landscapes, ancient kasbahs, and film studios that have been used in many famous movies and TV shows.

One of the most popular attractions in Ouarzazate is the Taourirt Kasbah, a beautiful example of traditional Moroccan architecture. This kasbah was once the residence of the Glaoui family, one of the most powerful families in Morocco, and is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Another must-see attraction is the Atlas Film Studios, which have been used to film movies such as "Lawrence of Arabia", "Gladiator", and "Game of Thrones". Visitors can take a tour of the studios and see the various sets and props used in these famous films.

Spend a night in a riad located in Ouarzazate.

This morning, after having breakfast, we will return to Marrakech.

Marrakech / Hotel

This is where your tour comes to a close, as well as where it began. Following that, we will transport you to your hotel for drop-off.
